Get More Action Time on The Court
Sitting on the sidelines while you’re teammates are on the court can be incredibly frustrating and disheartening no matter what stage you’re at in your netball career. The Netball Academy Program, is designed to help your kids play as often as they want, without pain, and helping them avoid injury so they don’t spend their time sitting on the sidelines
Reduced Visits to the Medicos
There is nothing more frustrating than sitting in a doctors office or having back-to-back appointments with physios, OT’s or chiropractors to deal with niggling or severe injuries caused by playing Netball. Not only does it take up a lot of time, it also hurts the hip pocket! Our program is designed to keep you out of the doctor’s office by providing your child with the strength and agility to help avoid injury.
Perform to Their Full Potential
The reason they play… Whether it’s for fun, to be a part of a team, or to be the best on court, our program is designed to help your child reach their full potential. It’s designed to help them play injury free, jump higher, have fun, run faster and help them reach their goals, whatever that may be for them.

Why Was the Netball Academy Developed?
There’s something pretty amazing about playing netball. It’s something that we grow up with at primary and secondary school and it’s a favorite weekend sport for kids throughout the country! It teaches us about being a team player, how to be committed and teaches us more life lessons than we sometimes care to admit, and at the end of the day, running out onto that court with a group of friends - is fun, plain and simple!
It’s a game I love, and it’s a game that I was so passionate about, that I did my entire thesis around it!
What never ceases to amaze me though, is the number of twenty and thirty plus year olds I talk to about loving the sport “back in the day”, but having to give it up – all because of injury.

I talk to school age kids as young as 12 and as ‘old’ as 17 who want to play netball at school or competitively but they’re stuck on the sidelines nursing an injury
…that could have been prevented, if they just had the knowledge and the training to avoid it...

...And This is Why I Started The Netball Academy
The Netball Academy was designed to help aspiring and dedicated netballers to avoid knee and ankle injuries that inhibit they’re playing time and their overall netball performance.
It was designed to help stop the loss of game time and loss of complete seasons due to injury.
+ PLUS, it was designed to give them the skills, strength and agility to help them not only avoid injury but also help them perform at their best
Our Goals for the Netball Academy are fuelled by two things;
1. The financial burden of injury for netballers, whether it’s visiting a physio or chiro or whether you have to go down the path of surgery or rehabilitation (Did you know the average cost of an ACL rupture is $18,000 - $25,000 after costs of rehabilitation? Woo – I know, it’s a lot)
2. The emotional burden that kids and netballers experience when they’re stuck on the sidelines, and can’t play a game they love with their friends and teammates. This can leave them feeling frustrated, disheartened and disappointed that they’re being left out and not able to reach the goals they set.
Number two is our biggest driver by far as we don’t want to see anyone sitting on the sidelines or giving up a sport they love…
…but we can’t ignore the financial costs associated with netball injuries either, so that’s definitely a driver for our program too, so that you don’t get stuck with a hefty medical bill.

I really can't believe how much I have seen myself improve in my fitness and netball skills ,and the girls really encourage each other to hit our goals.  It is really great to see us all getting stronger each week, and the way that it is run, we are ready for every new level before we do it!
- Hannah, Netball Athlete
I've seen my posture change, I don't suffer as much knee pain as I used too, my game has improved because I now know how to use the correct techniques and how my muscles work to control movement. Everyone in the group cheers you on and supports and encourages one another!
